Spring 25 Newsletter

I find myself being more hopeful as the days get longer, or to use a phrase I heard once and loved, ‘as the earth turns its face back towards the sun’. My garden wakes up, and starts looking, and smelling, beautiful. New flowers are opening each day. The leaves and grass are proclaiming how many shades exist of just one color, green. The sun starts to be warmer, I get to be outside more.

As an interior designer I am used to worrying about details. And there is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now. We are worried about how economic changes are going to affect our vendors, and talented contractors, and the craftspeople we depend on. But, designers are also wired to make aesthetically pleasing choices. To turn their faces toward beauty, every time. Turning towards beauty always makes life a little better.

Hope you are enjoying spring this year, and turning your face towards the sun, and beauty, and hope.

A Peek Behind the Design Curtain: A Health-Conscious Home Remodel in Los Altos

This past project was created for a client who loved color, and loved to host her family for extended visits. She was passionate about her heath, and wanted to eliminate any chemicals that raised health concerns. We had a great partnership, and enjoyed working together on this whole house remodel. Honestly, the process of remodeling can be stressful. Our team worried about the details, so she could just enjoy creating her perfect home. We had a lot of fun.

What We’re Loving Right Now

Our inspo for spring 🌱

It IS Easy Being Green!💡

As the seasons change and you are getting your spring wardrobe, we’re thinking about fibers. The most common micro plastics found in the ocean and in seafood are man made micro fibers from clothing. A couple of tips- don’t buy manmade textile like polyester and acrylic. Install a filter on your washing machine. Use a guppy friend washing bag to wash your artificial fiber clothes. Let’s keep our waterways safe together!
